The system Optimal DepotHub allows the tracking and management of items from the reception to the warehouse, going through all the operations of storage, inventory, internal transfers, picking, packing, loading and delivery, also ensuring the conversion between different units of measurement.
Optimal DepotHub features in stages
Reception of the goods
- Maximized accuracy by using barcodes or RF;
- Automatic printing of barcode labels during the receiving process;
- Automatic allocation of received items to customer orders;
- Printing the receipt document with all the necessary information;
- Evaluation of reception efficiency by analyzing transactions per employee (based on time stamps).
Checking the goods
- Printing inspection labels at the reception for pre-defined or selected items;
- Mandatory inspection for items returned by a customer under RMA;
- Registration of inspection rejection information, with related actions and comments;
- Automatic generation of return goods to the supplier for rejected items;
- Automatic generation of actions put away for items that passed inspection.
Put-away

- Reduce delivery time by picking and packing in one step.
Packaging and transportation of goods
- Automatically capture weight based on item standard weight and container hard weight;
- Capture or generate serial numbers for each shipping container;
- Enhanced customer service by providing instant shipment information, including carrier tracking numbers, by shipping box;
- Automatic generation of shipping documents, customer-specific labels and reports without user intervention;
- Shipping interfaces available to major carriers directly from WMS or the Clippership add-on.
Upload, manifest and verify
- Update packing and shipping information from the Shipments screen without having to edit related orders;
- Capture container-specific carrier tracking numbers;
- Use the manifest tool to combine multiple orders into one master shipment and print the associated carrier manifest report;
- Use the optional load check by scanning each container as loaded onto the truck. The system warns when containers are missing or containers belonging to other shipments have been scanned.
Inventories
- Detailed, real-time information on both on-hand and available inventory levels;
- Extensive filtering capabilities for each inventory query screen;
- Complete audit trail for every inventory transaction made through both the WMS DC applications and the desktop interface.
Batch or series control
- Complete history for each serial number and batch from receipt or creation to delivery or consumption;
